Almost Pain Free!

Wow! This homeopathic stuff really works. Not an overnight cure by any means, but definitely an improvement.

When I first started this process, I had serious pain in my leg. It hurt to do just about everything except lie down on my right side.

But since I started, I have noted a steady improvement. I usually didn't have any pain until the end of the work day and only had trouble standing during bell rehearsal on Wednesday nights or if I had to wait a long time for the bus.

But last night on the way home from work, I noticed only a little ache in my leg and it didn't bother me to stand and wait for the bus.

When I woke up this morning, I was sleeping on my left side which I haven't done since October.

I am supposed to continue the homeopathic treatment until I have been pain free for two months so I'm going to target my end date right now at April 21st (which will allow for some backsliding over my vacation).

Thanks to Aunt Jo for giving me the treatment book and to my masseuse Rocio for helping work out the kinks, literally.

I'm on the road to a full recovery!

Sorry to hear you're in pain, Anastasia, and glad to hear that homeopathic treatment is working. Boy, being a grown-up has some powerful disadvantages, doesn't it?

I'm in physical therapy myself after rotator cuff surgery. The therapist said my biceps were hurting because they were trying to take over for the rotator cuff muscles. She put something called a stim machine on the ailing biceps for ten minutes yesterday. It sends an electrical current to the spasming muscle, I think. Unfortunately the machine turns off after 10 minutes, but what relief I found in 10 minutes.

If you find that homeopathy goes too slowly, try to find someone with a stim machine.

And, remember. We're all in this together.

Katharine - I love the stim machine. My chiropractor has one and it is great for all kinds of muscle injuries. Unfortunately, my current problem is joint inflammation. I was on prescription NSAIDS and courses of icing and rest but not improving so I decided to give homeopathy a try. I was prepared for it to take a while and committed to do it until St. Patrick's Day (about 2.5 months) before giving up and going back to drugs.

Luckily, the combination of anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, herbals, and a more vegetarian diet is really working. I feel great!

Sorry to hear about your shoulder injury. I had a similar injury in 2001. Very painful indeed.

At least we have each other for moral support!!
